Our Founder

Wholly dedicated to event planning and design for well over 25 years, Loriann Serna continues to provide perfectly customized parties and events. Loriann dedicates time to meet clients and familiarize herself with them personally, so that she can understand their desires on an intimate level. Loriann is highly sought after across the nation and has become well-known for her celebrity clientele, including producing celebrations for Chris Brown, Drake, Saweetie, The Weeknd, John Legend & Chrissy Teigen, Doja Cat, Paris Hilton, and Cardi B. In 2023, she partnered with SHEIN to introduce their first-ever line of event supplies, with Loriann taking center stage as the ambassador for the launch.

With an office and warehouse centrally located in Los Angeles, Wife of the Party is proud to be a family-owned business. Loriann truly enjoys her time working side-by-side with her daughter Natalia and husband Herick, and in her downtime, spending time with her entire brood which includes daughters Francesca, Lucca, and eldest Jezabel. Self admittedly, her children are her driving force and source of grace and inspiration.

Loriann is not only thoughtful in her design schemes and becoming personally acquainted with each person she meets, but she is also mindful of her community. Having recently opened The Good Time Venue near South Pasadena where she grew up, Loriann wanted to provide a refined meeting-and-event space at an affordable rate. Loriann also participates in numerous philanthropic efforts, most recently supporting Ronald McDonald House as a donor. She also serves as a board member on the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce.
