A Vibrant Vintage Wedding

A vintage wedding in Downtown Los Angeles by The Wife of the Party and Loriann Serna, with a vibrant color twist.

Richard and Rebecca’s wedding was an elegant winter wedding filled with warm tones of peach and amber. At a private club in Los Angeles, the groom awaited his bride at the altar as a darling group of flowers girls dressed in champagne-colored dresses preceded Rebecca down the aisle. The soon-to-be Mrs. wore an ivory gown featuring lace details throughout the bodice and an eye-catching flared skirt, while the groom opted for a classic black tuxedo.

Centerpieces boasted fresh greenery, tulips, roses, and ranunculus blooms bedecked round tables accented with votives and tapered candles nestled in gilt vessels. Each of the round tables was draped in a luxurious off-white linen, and decorated with bullion charger plates and napkin treatments in a shade of tangerine. The uplighting around the room – crafted by Wife of the Party – intermingled with the glimmering chandeliers of the space and the collections of candlelight, created an amorous atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a sit-down dinner service and eagerly awaited the next course using the personalized menu cards that Wife of the Party designed.

After the mariachi band concluded, DJ Herick kept the dance floor filled for the entirety of the night, where friends and family joined the newlyweds and the merriment continued only taking a break to indulge in slices of the couple’s wedding cake frosted in a tasty buttercream. The bride and groom only took a break to take a seat at their sweetheart table – adorned with fresh flowers in peach and tangerine tones and surrounded by pillar candles – and take in all the beauty and happiness in the room. Richard and Rebecca looked on in gratitude as all their favorite people danced, laughed, and enjoyed each other’s company, feeling so thankful that all of them took the time to attend their nuptials and celebrate their love.
