Danielle & Marco's Wedding

Danielle and Marco’s gorgeous desert nuptials were held on the perfect fall day. The Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs served as the venue for the romantic affair filled with sentimental elements and familial details, such as a table dedicated to photographs of late relatives who the bride and grooms wanted to honor on their special day.

Wife of the Party provided day-of coordination, and were thrilled to do so for the fun-loving couple who opted for a live mariachi band to play prior to the ceremony for guests’ enjoyment as they found their seats for the “I dos.” The bride made her grand entrance wearing a fit-n-flare gown featuring a frothy skirt. Her long, dark locks framed her face as she walked down the aisle, carrying a modern bouquet of florals in vanilla and peach hues, outlined with a fresh palm frond. The groom was equally striking in a class black-and-white tuxedo and a perfect single bloom boutonniere in a crème brûlée tone affixed to his lapel. The heartwarming service was officiated by the brother of the groom, who did an excellent job incorporating readings the couple wanted to include blended with his own personal touch.

As the ceremony concluded and loved ones shifted to the reception area, the mariachi band played again before the live entertainment segued to a five-piece band that kept partygoers on the dance floor all night long. First, friends and family took their seats for the dinner service. Tablescapes were beautifully adorned with understated, but stylish, floral centerpieces as well as bud vases highlighting additional white florals and greenery. The big day flowed seamlessly for the new Mr. & Mrs.! We always recommend hiring a wedding planner, or at the very least, a day-of coordinator to help assist throughout the wedding day. The last thing the bride and groom needs to worry about are all the little mishaps that likely occur, so that they can instead focus on their new life together!
