Titanic

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Titanic movie, a screening for influencers was arranged: a glamorous series of respective events that took place on February 6th and 7th at IPIC Theater Westwood and on February 8th at Manhattan Beach Studios. Wife of the Party spared no effort in creativity when crafting a memorable experience for the exclusive fete. Guests enjoyed a pre-viewing reception before the screening, then were invited to watch the film immediately following.

Each venue was adorned with a variety of décor elements to create an elegant and immersive atmosphere. A step-and-repeat was erected, providing a bold, branded backdrop where attendees took the opportunity to have their photos taken. Other branded details were lush black blankets that doubled as added comfort and as a keepsake for guests, as well as individual chocolate-covered strawberry boxes and branded chocolate squares for a touch of personalization. A favorite detail were the custom Titanic “tickets” that were given out, serving as unique mementos of the event. The tickets were made to resemble authentic tickets from the era of the Titanic. The pièce de resistance were the grand, four-foot letters that spelled out the word “Titanic” and featured scenes or iconic images from the movie. It was definitely wow-worthy and talked about amongst guests! Note: lighting design was especially important to make this come to life. Partygoers ate warm appetizers, imbibed customized cocktail menus, documented the moment at a photo booth, sat with a caricature artist for a portrait, and even took home a fresh rose bouquet to play on the famous Kate Winslet character of Rose. To keep everyone warm and stylish long after the event, embroidered Titanic hoodies were also gifted to attendees. The final day of the screening was extra special. This was hosted at the Manhattan Beach Studios where parts of the new Avatar were filmed and props like the Titanic ship and the famous sex scene car that was used in the movie are housed and on display. Overall, the Titanic screening was a meticulously planned event, featuring attention to detail in the décor and personalized touches for the guests!
