David & Stella's Noor Wedding

David and Stella’s wedding was held at a venue that we just love and have worked with quite often over the years: NOOR Pasadena. Wife of the Party was thrilled to be hired for coordination for the celebration. The summer nuptials began with the couple honoring a traditional Jewish custom, the ketubah signing, which was witnessed only by their rabbi and immediate family members prior to the modern ceremony where the betrothed exchanged vows beneath an impressive chuppah bedecked in lush white florals. Stella was a vision in a gown showcasing illusion sleeves and delicate beading throughout the bodice and full skirt. She carried a feminine bouquet of vanilla-hued peonies, which paired perfectly with her refined bridal style.

The new Mr. & Mrs. were introduced at the reception by a talented five-piece band. Immediately following their grand entrance, the couple took part in another Jewish tradition – the blessing of the challah. The groom’s uncle also led the champagne toast before the dinner service commenced. Guest tables were covered in satin white linens and decorated with tall centerpieces featuring fresh roses and orchids. An elevated sweetheart table situated at the front of the room was bedecked with the same floral décor scheme in blush and ivory. A mixture of chandeliers suspended from the wood-paneled ceiling cast a romantic glow over the room.

As loved ones finished supper and slices of the five-tiered wedding cake, the live entertainment got the crowd on their feet with energetic performances of favorite songs. Friends and family were also invited to join the newlyweds on the dance floor for a lively horah, where the bride and groom are lifted into the air and danced around in a celebratory fashion. The big day was so special for David and Stella, the only thing they wished for was for their wedding to last longer! Remember to take a few minutes alone after the ceremony to take it all in because the day really passes by in a flash! We suggest a first look of the reception before guests enter, so that you can appreciate all the hard work of planning finally becoming an amazing reality.
