Amazon's Original Movie, Cinderella, Launch with Camila Cabello
To celebrate the launch of the Amazon Original Movie, Cinderella, the studio invited 20 girls from 7-12 years old to enjoy the premiere. Amazon wanted to make the experience extra special! We understood the assignment. The WOTP team began designing, planning, and fabricating items to be ready for branding. We decided that we’d include much of the same style elements and concepts as Camila’s private party, which we had worked on just a couple of months prior. Once the guests of honor arrived, they laid their eyes upon an oversized movie poster of Camila Cabello as Cinderella, placed beside a white carriage from RWP Props. We also hired Peony Secret to create flower arrangements that were feminine, not too punchy in color scheme, but that showcased beautiful whimsical details, including faux butterflies. The butterflies were also seen in the large step-and-repeat framed by balloons in varied sizes and in a plethora of purple shades crafted by Gaby’s Balloons.
EDLT Photo arrived early to not only capture the lovely details of the event, but to document the excitement of the girls as they arrived and took their seats at rectangular tables covered in silky grey linens and decorated with floral bouquets. Create Event Design arranged cozy grey couches and chairs for optional seating, while 3D Sounds set up the LED screen for the movie showing.
In the long driveway, stanchions with velvet ropes carved pathways leading to super-cool mobile spas geared for children by Royal Divazz, and Monliet Art Services prepared “magic potions” to help ready the small guests for their own magical evening. The children were also gifted tiered gowns fit for royalty and Crocs Classics. They were encouraged to personalize their new pair of shoes with Jibbitz™ of their choosing. Princess crowns, candy, and strawberry-speckled refreshments handmade by Crystal Bartenders were passed freely, in addition to freshly made hamburgers, hot dogs, and tacos.
As mentioned above, we were also hired directly by Camila to produce a private celebration in her home after the official movie premiere in Hollywood. The intimate celebration included only the closest friends and family members of the actress/singer, as well as cast members. Many of the same vendors were used, so that a similar look was carried out. Faux butterflies ran up the lush trellis of the home, florals bedecked tabletops and the bar, and movie posters were showcased in various areas throughout the space.
Some added details, such as moody candlelight and a sexy lighting design were tailored for the mature audience versus a guest list of young girls. The vibe was a bit more sultry whimsy – ideal for the nighttime festivities. Crumble Catering made delicious bites, and Sweet Deetails baked a gorgeous tiered cake to satiate people’s sweet tooth.
