Charly Jordan's Feminine Bohemian-Inspired Birthday Picnic

For this elegant, feminine bohemian-inspired picnic celebrating the 22nd birthday of social-media influencer Charly Jordan, we crafted custom wood tables decorated with sheer white overlays or macrame runners and wood frames bedecked with macrame “chandeliers,” as well as greenery, feathers, and pampas grass elements. Instead of typical chairs surrounding the tables, we opted for a variety of cushions as seats for the private dinner at the home of the birthday girl with delicious food catered by Boa Steakhouse. The monochromatic color palette was highlighted in every last detail – from the florals, to the woven place mats, bread baskets, and wooden tiered trays filled with fresh pastries. Additional candlelight was nestled in wicker basket-inspired lanterns that adorned the walkway near the swimming pool and spa area.

I am always reminding our clients how much lighting matters – and for this special event, we made this picnic go from day to night seamlessly. A great lighting design, candlelight in a variety of heights, and fabulous views of the city lights make for a memorable setting with a romantic ambience!
