Ashanti x Prettylittlething's Hollywood Pool Party

To kickoff the launch of the PrettyLittleThing x Ashanti collection, a celebration was planned at the storied Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California (now named The Hollywood Roosevelt). The jungle-themed collection is the perfect attire for summer with barely there swimsuits, cover-ups, and more for poolside or beachy getaways. The prints boast a wide range – from bright animal prints to shimmery mermaid styles; there’s something for everyone! We drew inspiration from the collection itself, which made the fete “wildly” fun to design. What was even more perfect was that the property had recently renovated their Tropicana pool area, so the site couldn’t have been more ideal for the theme.

We started with a pink cheetah step-and-repeat for guests to photograph in front of immediately after they passed through the impressive entryway of tall standing pink palm fronds. Poster-size photos of Ashanti modeling the new collection were also artfully arranged near the entrance of the party, so that revelers could get a good look of the songstress in her favorite outfits. 

The pool was filled with fun inflatables, encouraging guests to take a dip in the water while enjoying the festivities. Tons of palm trees and other lush foliage framed the outdoor space, so the entire soiree was truly picture perfect. The bar was expertly crafted from wood and emblazoned with PrettyLittleThing signage and garlands of balloons in shades of pink and green. Tropical arrangements of flowers were sprinkled throughout the décor – from the bar area to tabletops to the cabanas, which had been beautifully decorated with PrettyLittleThing-branded throw pillows, towels, and more. 

SoCal Hookahs provided all-pink hookahs for attendees, which paired well with the cool, laidback vibe, and DJ Casanova played the latest hits until a special performance by Lil Pump was announced to the crowd. Partygoers went “wild” and the event ended with much success!
