Sol De Janeiro Team Bonding Weekend

In spring of this year, The Wife of the Party had the delightful opportunity to plan a team-building event for popular beauty brand Sol De Janeiro. The beloved company opted for a beach venue – Laguna Cliffs Marriot Resort & Spa – where employees could enjoy fresh air, fresh food, and embark on fresh relationships with both old and new colleagues. With the help of The Wife of the Party, Sol De Janeiro arranged for a variety of activities that were sure to please everyone, and The Wife of the Party was excited to introduce each day’s fun!

The team began Day One with a welcome party where attendees discovered décor in bright tropical displays – from tabletops to floral arrangements – and adorable, branded fresh coconut beverages. They also landed upon a branded hat wall, where they were encouraged to grab a wide-brimmed hat to protect their skin while looking stylish. Everyone played games, such as a Jenga-inspired wood block competition and a hot-pink-and-canary-yellow-colored corn hole tournament – of course both branded with Sol De Janeiro! – and as the day went on into the evening, guests were offered s’mores and customized Sol De Janeiro blankets to cozy up on the bright-yellow couches complemented with fuchsia throw pillows with customized branding as well. DJ Herick played hip tunes as revelers enjoyed the night festivities.

Day Two involved team-building workshops that were impactful and inclusive, before moving on to a wonderful dinner service to end the night. Whitestone Restaurant & Bar, along the infamous Pacific Coast Highway, offered an amazing spread of cuisine and cocktails, which was a perfect way to end a productive day of learning together. For Day 3, The Wife of the Party arranged for seaside yoga and sound baths on the sand to end the team’s time together on this amazing retreat.
