Google’s Product Inclusion and Equity Summit

On October 5, 2023, we were honored to participate in the Google Product Inclusion and Equity Summit held at the Google Headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. This event served as a platform to champion inclusivity and equity in technology, showcasing Google's dedication to addressing diverse needs.

Throughout the summit, we unveiled more than 21 builds that highlighted the latest advancements in the Google Pixel 8, demonstrating how Google is actively working to accommodate a variety of users. This included features catering to wheelchair accessibility, visual impairments, and hearing challenges.

On the upper level, our presentations centered around cutting-edge features such as talk-to-text, Bard, and live transcribe, showcasing how Google is using technology to enhance communication and accessibility. Meanwhile, on the lower level, we explored the significance of Google's illuminating image technology, spotlighting real-tone capabilities and the Monk skin tone scale—an embodiment of Google's commitment to accurately representing diverse skin tones.

We express our gratitude for being part of an event that not only embraces diversity but also actively addresses and meets the diverse needs of users. The Google Product Inclusion and Equity Summit was a momentous occasion, symbolizing a commitment to a future where technology is genuinely inclusive and accessible to all.
