BoohooMAN Trippy Funk Launch

To celebrate the release of the new BoohooMAN collection, we collaborated with their in-house team to produce an evening cocktail hour at the Boohoo showroom that would be extra memorable! We were inspired by the color scheme of the collection itself, so we decided to utilize all of the fun tones in the décor concept.

High tables from Create Event Design were illuminated in a variety of muted-neon hues that matched the ceiling-to-floor posters of models donning the new line. In contrast, a clean white bar – manned by Crystal Bartenders – with black-font branding across the front offered a full bar for attendees, whilst the wall behind boasted couches with colorful throw pillows. A punchy lighting design was used to give the floor and grass areas some extra pizazz – something I always recommend because lighting is typically easy to work into a budget and makes for an impactful element.

The professional caterers at Schaffer made an array of scrumptious bite-size food to satisfy palates. From mini tacos and cheesy tater tots to macarons that looked like burger sliders complete with “lettuce” and a “sesame bun,” as well as other treats such as chocolate cupcakes-inspired by Hostess and perfectly iced donuts garnished with fresh berries.

The staircase – adorned with branding to match the color story – leading to the interior area of the showroom was also decorated with canvas photos from the editorial photo shoot. Racks of the Trippy Funk collection were placed around the area, so that attendees could select their favorites to take home. Mr. Hoodbrush was on-hand to customize each piece with airbrushed art, as well.
