NFL Origins' Super Bowl Desert Themed Pop-Up
The Showcase Room is an amazing event venue in Tempe, Arizona. The site provides a beautiful, clean slate that works perfectly for celebrations – and a blank slate is a planner’s dream. The NFL planned to host their second annual Origins collection pop-up retail event just ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl, and Wife of the Party was extremely happy to be a part of producing the soirée! The Origins collections are intended to highlight artists in the city of which the Super Bowl is hosted. It’s a new concept that we think is fabulous!
The Origins affair was open exclusively to the local public and features a unique shopping experience for the super-cool, limited-edition NFL Origins collection, which showcases the work of four local Arizona artists: Ashley Macias, Elias Jade’s Not Afraid, Jeremy Davis’ Manor, and OXDX by Jared Yazzie and Allie Stone. Several items, including hooded sweatshirts and T-shirts were suspended from the ceiling, whilst other items were simply set against branded signage for all to view. Items will be available on the NFL shop website following the event.
Décor was understated, yet wow-worthy and transformed into a desert scene with various live cacti, real sand, and a mesmerizing sunset backdrop complete with colorful shades of amber cast upon the clouds. Furniture was also in tune with the Arizona concept, featuring dark wood coffee tables, couches made of rattan or in desert-inspired shades of terracotta and mustard yellow, as well as branded Origins throw pillows mixed with bohemian styles. Attendees were able to enjoy interactive installations for each artist’s brand, take in art displays, mingle and listen to music, imbibe on refreshments, purchase exclusive items, and more.
