Erick "DJ Deorro" & Michelle's Los Angeles Wedding
Erick “DJ Deorro” and his bride Michelle wed in a traditional Catholic mass in San Dimas, California, followed by a memorable reception hosted at a former theater, popular in the 1930s. Mariachis played traditional wedding songs as the bridal party processed. Bridesmaids wore matching-colored blush ensembles, in varied styles of their choosing, while groomsmen wore all-black suits. Michelle looked radiant in a strapless, lace fit-and-flare gown as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her mother, who wore a sparkling gold dress.
Padua Hills boasts beautiful Spanish Mission Revival-style buildings and offers brilliant views of the surrounding city. As family and friends arrived, they walked a red carpet, complete with a celebrity-style step-and-repeat to make for a fun and well-lit photo spot. The couple was delighted to see their guest enjoy the sights, as well as the delicious alfresco dinner they had carefully curated. The bride and groom relished their first meal as husband and wife under a gazebo prettily decorated with fresh florals in elegant neutral hues that mimicked the arrangements that bedecked dinner tables. Mariachis lightly played during supper to create a romantic ambience, and twinkle lights started to shine from all of the trees on site. It created a perfect, magical setting.
At the conclusion of the dinner service, the newlyweds and loved ones continued the celebration indoors, where partygoers were entertained by live music from a banda group, in addition to several DJs throughout the evening’s festivities. A surprise cello performance from the groom as a gift to his wife brought everyone in the room in tears. It was definitely a moment to remember! Wife of the Party was honored to have provided planning, coordination, lighting design, and sound for these nuptials. Thank you, Erick and Michelle!
