For NBA Washington Wizards power forward, we wanted to create a birthday bash in perfect sync with his outgoing Leo personality. The basketball star’s girlfriend, model Winnie Harlow, opted to host an epic pool party with a couple dozen close friends. The “LEO SZN” (Leo Season) themed birthday party incorporated wild stripes, jungle vibes, and fiery colors.

Puma sponsored a fun photo booth for guests to pose with the birthday boy, Casamigos sponsored the bar that offered personalized cocktails with names like “Kuzmania” in addition to a beer pong table, and Savage Tacos served up delicious food choices. Corina Dance Group provided a really cool snake and fire dancer performance where even Winnie joined in by getting on stage to hold the enormous anaconda.

The party was perfect! It’s okay to host a simple get together and make it full of fun details for your guests to enjoy. Sometimes those understated parties are the most memorable, and in this case it was spot on. For dessert, Winnie brought out a three-tiered fire-inspired cake so that all could sing “Happy Birthday” before hitting the dance floor that was lighted up in “fire.”
