Chris Brown's Neon City Birthday Party

Chris Brown’s parties are always fun to plan, he appreciates creativity and let’s us go a lil’ crazy with imagination. This year, we rented Candela La Brea and redesigned the space to be a neon city. The venue was able to handle projections, as well as food and bar, so Wife of the Party took charge of design, coordination, décor, and lighting design.

We asked Create Event Design to bring in fun furniture, Peony Secret crafted whimsical floral masterpieces, and 3D Sounds installed an LED screen to play futuristic panoramas, along to the beats of DJ Jae Murphy. Jorge Meza captured all the details before guests arrived, as well as shots of the birthday boy and friends once the festivities started. For the ultimate entertainment surprise, a live performance by rapper Blueface was enjoyed later in the night with cryo guns provided by Jay Holdings to add to the pizazz.

An “arcade” section with neon lighted signs from Quality Neons, cotton candy, and elements of typical carnival games for decoration was the perfect photo moment. Nude body-painted women posed in areas of the space as well, adding to the revelry. The lighting design looked super cool reflecting off the models’ shimmery bodies.

Partygoers also took delight in trying out the many flavors of hookah from Steam It All LLC and tasted yummy flash-frozen ice cream by Nitropod. Belladonna Sweets baked an incredible cake inspired by Bearbrick x Keith Haring x Mickey Mouse, which mimicked the oversized fixtures of the same Mickey on either side of the stage.
