David Dobrik's Doughbrik Pizza Launch
A special rooftop event at Bar Lis – a cool rooftop lounge that overlooks Hollywood – was selected as the celebratory spot for famous YouTuber, David Dobrik, and friends. The large group was there to celebrate the opening of David’s new pizza shop Doughbrik’s Pizza on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, California. Members of his “Vlog squad,” including manager Natalie Noel and other influencers, such as Jason Nash, Toddy Smith, Zane Hijazi, and more, were in attendance to celebrate!
We covered every striped black-and-white wall of the chic site with picture frames featuring custom prints of David and his friends. It was a fun element to watch as guests entered the space and noticed they were included in the décor, pointing to photos of themselves and others. Additional custom branding included a sleek step-and-repeat for photos as attendees entered, vinyl-wrapped elevators using the same motif, and throw pillows on red-and-white striped couches. We love fun ways to incorporate branding, while still keeping in with the theme or concept!
For this one, we used a concept of literal head-to-toe décor: pizza slice balloons and clouds of red balloons were suspended overhead, while a red LED 3D dance floor lit up the room. Even more fun was the special entertainer, a LED stilt-walking robot. It was amazing! Guests enjoyed themselves for hours, as they sipped on cocktails, relished in each other’s company, and of course, noshed on slices of the famous Doughbrik’s Pizza that was served throughout the night!
