Item Beauty x Addison Rae
TikTok star Addison Rae launched her new beauty brand called Item Beauty in collaboration with Ipsy. Sadly, as much as Addison Rae was looking forward to a large celebration to ring in her accomplishment, she was unable to host a launch party due to COVID-19 and its restrictions. Instead, she opted to personally deliver her press kits to her best friends, most of them popular influencers in their own right. It was an excellent idea and a unique way to introduce her line to her 55 million followers, as well as document the reality of the current situation. Through the struggles of COVID, it’s been heartwarming to see how clients are finding ways to stay connected to their loved ones, fans, and followers alike.
For this project, we custom wrapped a Mercedes G63 for Addison Rae, so that she could drop off the kits in style to her friends, including David Dobrik and Natalie Mariduena, Charli and Dixie, Avani, and James Charles. The tangerine-color wrap design boasted the Item Beauty motif and featured white daisies to go with the branding of the beauty line, which is distinctly bright and happy to appeal to her youthful following. We also had fresh flowers prepared by the floral design team at Lovesome Blossoms to complement the press kit gift. The cool collection includes mascara, jelly eye shadow, brightening powder, brow definer, lip oil, and contour duo.
While some of our staff was out helping Addison Rae make deliveries, the other half of our team was decorating her home so that when she returned, she would have a surprise, and get some time to celebrate with her family. We brightened up her home with garlands of balloons, flower arrangements from Rendezvous Flowers, cupcakes by Belladonna Sweets, and of course, customized face masks we created.
