Happy Birthday Doja Cat

PrettyLittleThing (PLT) graciously offered to sponsor Doja Cat’s 25th birthday party, and they asked us to help organize the intimate fete. The birthday girl desired a pink-hued Tokyo, Japan, theme for the celebration and we were excited to get the creativity flowing. Before going full throttle designing, we devised a plan to keep everyone safe. We hired a medical team to administer rapid on-the-spot COVID-19 tests to ensure every guest was healthy before entering the party.

We covered the swimming pool with both white and hot pink balls similar to the ones we use in our much-talked-about ball pits. Additionally, we added beach balls and floats in a variety of sizes to create dimension and to make it more interesting, rather then just some balls floating in the water.

A glossy white bar with “Doja’s 25th Birthday” motif written boldly across it was setup poolside. A tall pink vase held a frothy floral arrangement featuring roses and cherry blossom branches; in the same area stood grand cherry blossom trees colored all pink, along with pink pedestals – one which showcased the birthday cake. A four-tiered confection frosted in blush pink was adorned with edible cherry blossoms. It was as gorgeous as it was delicious thanks to Belladonna Sweets.

What every party needs is a backdrop for photo opportunities, so we created a custom wall emblazoned with PLT branding as well as “Doja Cat” spelled out in bright pink florals. But not only that, we also crafted an incredible lantern entryway made entirely from various shaped lanterns in different pink tones. The eye-catching structure was complemented with pin lighting, which provided an overall festive, happy ambience.

Short floral displays were set out on coffee tables, which were surrounded by comfortable pink velvet sofas supplied by Create Event Design. PLT hookah stations were also arranged by SoCal Hookahs for partygoers enjoyment, while DJ Von Kiss played the birthday girl’s preferred playlist.
