Phil On Hair's Hair-Tique

Goya Studios was selected as the venue for the Phil On Hair “The Hair-Tique” launch celebration. The décor and design concept was whimsical and fun – beginning with the entrance that was bedecked with mannequin heads suspended from the ceiling upside down. The “heads” were wearing a variety of wigs from Phil on Hair, making it a cool way to see the new wig line. The impressive overhead installation was also comprised of fresh florals, in ombré patterns of white, pink, and deep red, along with hairbrushes, combs, curling irons, and blow dryers.

Towering walls boasted a display of more wigs, while a hand-painted graffiti wall served as a funky step-and-repeat, making it a great place to pose for photos. Another photo opportunity was the Impressions Vanity area where vanity mirror and director chairs were setup. Collections of mannequins in rows were arranged throughout the space, as well as fragrant flowers in shades of bright pink, white, scarlet, and deep burgundy.

A large LED screen display highlighted music videos and features with mannequins, and a floating wigs lighting design surrounded the sleek DJ booth. As the night went on, the lighting design near the DJ booth updated to patterns of green, white, and gold.

Guests of honor, Christina Milian and Karrueche Tran, frolicked with attendees and talked more about the launch of the luxurious wig brand. Revelers noshed on sweets, including pink-iced donuts with confetti sprinkles, strawberry shortcake in a cup, confetti cake pops, and a five-tier all-white cake with “The Hair-Tique” emblazoned in black icing. Bouffant-style blush cotton candy topped off mannequin heads to help tie in the theme at the dessert table. Even more treats were offered at the Sugar Bouffant cotton candy station where servers wore huge hot pink wigs! The new line is incredible, and we are so thankful to have been a part of this launch event, which allowed for really creative design concepts.
