A Sweet & Savory Sunday Funday Food Festival
"As the pioneer in the business-to-business tradeshow for caterers and restaurants, Crave Expo has become known as the landing spot for the most sought after eateries in Southern California. Priding themselves in showcasing new, innovative, as well as established restaurants, people around the U.S. and beyond have flocked to experience the movement that is Crave Expo.
With a history of helping brands launch products, grow their network, and expand market outreach Crave Expo is recognized as a must-attend event for both businesses and guests alike." - Crave
We attended our first event three years ago and assisted them in a small capacity for the last two. This year at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim we brought more fun production elements to the "table", creating a bright and bold balloon display stage side for DJ Herick, Dance Masters and ToonUpz! We backlit the stage to add a little extra fun and we love the way it turned out:
The Happen Booth was there to capture all the fun with everyone's tasty treats serving as the perfect props. From ice cream to burgers to sushi tacos, there was enough variety for everyone. And of course cupcakes, there were so many delicious cupcakes!
DJ Herick took a break from behind the turntables to participate in the dance off contest against Ralph The Rex - have you ever seen a dinosaur do The Worm?:
Speaking of Ralph The Rex, he sure had all the cravings just as much as we did! He made the rounds to each food truck and several of the savory stations, stopping to say hello to the tiny tots (and the kids at heart) along the way - dumplings and bulgogi fries may be his new favorite (click to the right):
Vendors showed off their works of art to Edward at EDLT Photo for some fun portraits bringing their product to life through color:
Though the rain attempted to do just that, rain on our parade, it didn't work! Guests from all over southern California attended and ate, and ate, and ate from noon until sunset. Event planners and VIP industry guests were invited the first hour before it opened to the public. One of our favorites? Street Churros, pictured below:
And of course, they drank. We had some great adult beverages on hand featuring Stella Rosa tastings from San Antonio Winery and Tsingtao Beer:
All the presentation was so impressive! Vendors went all out with their booth designs and there was truly something for everybody. White Sakuras had a farmer's market type of feel at their booth where guests could purchase loose blooms for the Crave $5 special!
Mario at Luv In Flying Colors was back taking some fun video to capture it all in between taste testing, of course:
