Beautiful Joyful Harborside Wedding
It is no surprise that October is one of the best months to get married in Southern California. It is absolutely gorgeous here! Just ask our bride and groom who wed on a quintessential Southern California day. The kind you see in movies really. Picture it...blue skies, a few puffy clouds, the sun shining, perfect 75 degrees, a beautiful bride, a joyful groom, an amazing harbor view and you have Brittany and Andre's Beautiful Joyful Harborside Wedding.
Just look at the bling on the straps! Perfect for showing off my bride's California sun-kissed shoulders.
Every bride must have her accessories...Steve Madden crystal heels, pearl and rhinestone purse, Givenchy earrings and bracelet...I'd say she is ready to go.
As you can imagine we have seen a lot of rings around here but this set is truly unique. After having spent time with Brittany and Andre I would say these really capture their personalities.
Vanessa at Prive Beauty did a lovely job bringing out my bride's stunning brown eyes and that side curl by Tina Friend...vavavoom!
Don't they look so pretty in their matching robes?
Now these ladies are ready to party! Give them a little champagne and you get some big smiles!
Each bridesmaid gown was a bit different which is a great idea, especially if you have maids with different body types or style preferences.
Loriann helps our bride makes final adjustments to get her "aisle ready". Just look at the back of the gown...swoon!
This is one happy groom!
Good looking group of men are ready to get their guy married.
There are so many great spots on the grounds of Hotel Maya for unique pictures.
First looks are some of our favorite moments. Andre and Brittany could not wait to get a peek at one another and get down that aisle!
Hotel Maya really is a hidden gem in Long Beach full of lush greenery and even a waterfall.
White Sakuras has done it again...stunning bridal bouquet!
While the ladies do one final hair and makeup check, the men toast to the beautiful bride to be and lucky groom.
We could not have asked for a better, or more beautiful, day!
Wedding guests eagerly await the bridal party under a shaded pavilion overlooking the harbor.
We can see where Andre gets his joyful smile...
One of Brittany's brothers walk her mother down the aisle.
Loriann gives final instructions to the ring bearer and flower girl.
This sweet little flower girl was a bit camera shy.
Camera shy but absolutely adorable!
One of Brittany's brothers escorts her down the aisle.
We thought this was so sweet...first brother hands her over to another brother to continue to escort her down the aisle.
Brittany's third brother stands in to give her away.
We sure would like to know what was said that was so funny!
Our couple just radiates light and love.
A gorgeous pink and silver sky...it was just meant to be!
This bridal party was so much fun and could not wait to get in the reception and get dancing!
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Andre Rogers!
The groom's grandfather gave a lovely toast and tribute to the newlyweds.
We're not so sure the kids knew what they were catching but it did make for a very funny moment!
To the victor go the spoils!
The details on this cake by Rossmoor Pastries were incredible.
Hundreds of edible pearls and thousands of tiny swirls were hand placed. Absolutely stunning!
The newlyweds took a quiet stroll along the harbor before saying goodbye to their guests.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Rogers!
