Big Top Bash Carnival Themed B'nai Mitvah

Step right up! Come one come all…to the greatest B'nai Mitvah in town! We were honored to have designed this Big Top Bash Carnival Themed reception for our clients Shelby & Max. Complete with stilt walkers, skee-ball, a strongman bell tower, cotton candy made on the spot, custom mad libs, caricature dance floor, scavenger hunt, and a kids versus parents lip sync battle.

These twins were all about having fun and we were going to make that happen. We hired a Big Red Bus to transport guests from the temple to the reception. Kids were given popcorn to get them in the mood to party under the Big Top. Once they arrived at the location, the beautiful Hotel Maya, a waterfront resort across the harbor from Downtown Long Beach, they were greeted by colorful stilt walkers.

Toon Upz recreated the personalized caricature of the twins on the larger than life seamless dancefloor.

White and red hydrangea centerpieces adorn gorgeous golden sequin tablecloths.

A special table for the newly mitvahed twins.

Custom menus with caricature mad libs were tucked into each napkin. Guests were encouraged to have fun with their responses and then take them home as keepsakes.

Max & Shelby opted for something a little less traditional than a guestbook and more meaningful to them. They chose large custom canvas posters so that family and friends could write personal messages which would then be displayed in their bedrooms as constant reminders of their special day.

Stilt walkers walked guests into the party!

Carnival games at every turn...there was something for everyone!

Cotton candy in a variety of flavors mesmerized the crowd as Sugar Spin created swirls of candy right before their eyes.

All eyes were on beautiful, Shelby, and handsome, Max, as they entered the room and greeted their guests.

Guests always have fun in the Happen Booth!

Party guests admire the striking likeness to the real like Max & Shelby to their caricatures ;)

The battle was on...Lip Sync Battle between parents and kids...

Pulling out all the stops with a Michael Jackson impression...

Moms go for the win with the big hats!

The New Rat Pack made an appearance as well.

They decided to let in a new member now that he's 13.

It's all fun and games now!

Both of the twins chose cakes that matched their personalities. Max was all about sports.

Shelby chose an elegant look with turquoise and crystals.

The best part of all was the traditional dance, the Hora, and the chair lifting.

These two were adorable and a dream to work with! Happy B'nai Mitvah Max & Shelby!
