A Floral Shower For Nikki
Nicole Shahar, owner of An Old Soul Jewelry is welcoming her second baby boy into the Shahar family in just under four weeks. She will become a mother again, her son Jacob will be the very best big brother, and daddy Shaun will be holding that handsome baby boy near and dear. Along with her family, we hosted a shower for her Sunday at La Casita del Arroyo in Pasadena (my new favorite intimate venue) with a little help from our talented friends.
Guests sat at their pretty little place settings adorned with one-of-a-kind linens underneath canopies comprised of hand tied assorted youthful fabrics. Before homemade family style fare was enjoyed, they perused their custom menus and then headed over to the activity stations for their meaningful keepsakes including:
- a make-your-own "baby" bouquet from Duck Loves Char
- a DIY bracelet bauble station complete with Swarovski crystals
- a bountiful variety of homemade sweets in a darling credenza baked up by Nikki herself for guests to take home including sticky buns, peanut butter cookies and biscotti.
Oh, and we can't forget the photobooth. Custom templates were designed to compliment the gorgeous hand tied backdrop from her sister, Dawn.
Nikki we love you and I'm thankful you're making me an auntie again. Cheers to you, beautiful mommy.
