Circa's Dia De Gracia 2015

There is so much to be thankful for today and every day but reflecting during the holiday season with friends and vendors that make magic happen together all year long seems only appropriate. Rainy at Circa brought new and old faces full circle for a family style dinner + meet and greet emphasized by some upscale Mexican flair mixed with her Monrovia backyard boogie beauty. And  oh, there was some boogie in that den. And some lip syncing. And perhaps a battle or two.

Guests sat at family style hairpin tables delicately decorated with Anthroplogie runners. To each side were pretty little place settings polished with copper ware from Borrowed Blu and a variety of succulents and warm, wintery florals from Foxtail Florals (who by the way are as pretty on the inside as their florals on the outside).

All were invited to serve themselves some cold, spicy Micheladas from Micho & Mary at the #DIY michi bar serving up ice cold Tecate and Modelo. I mean after all, how can you have Rudy's Mexican food without that tangy necessity? Horchata and sangria were chilled and ready to serve with the delicious desserts including pan dulce, sweet treats from The French Confection Co. and dulce de sandia.

The takeaways from the festivities? 4x6 images from The Happen Booth with prints matching the custom design for the night from Smitten On Paper. They drew up some pretty little things for the bar, the menu, the hashtag place cards and of course the invitation that brought all this talent together. As we dined, danced and boothed others sat front and center for Angelo from ToonUpz to have their caricature drawn. Group images and sexy selfies were produced in 2-5 minutes from his talented larger-than-life pencil.

And finally, the music. Oh DJ Herick, we should have nicknamed the dance floor the battle zone. The song of the night was 'N Sync - Bye, Bye, Bye. Arielle from LVL Weddings would have taken the trophy home, if we had one ::note to Rainy for next year::

Mario from Luv In Flying Colors caught it all, here:
