Baby, You're a Firework

What an explosive weekend! We kicked off a busy few days with a beautiful wedding on Friday at Hurst Ranch in Covina before a variety of celebrations with tons of new vendors (and plenty of my go-to favorites) on the westside. Nancy and Jeremiah chose a western, rustic theme and their photographers, Russ and Thet were a "blast" to work with. Just see the first image below! Ok, maybe I'm overdoing it with the fire words but I just never get tired of sparklers on any occasion. So, I decided to bring them to three of mine! First, Nancy and Jeremiah. Next, Varina's 50th. And finally, the lovely Honey B Eileen's birthday on Sunday at Toca Madera atop custom donuts compliments of BoomKinis. I must've been on to something as my Instagram feed capped off the night with images of the same idea from Inside Weddings and The Knot. This leads me to the perfect opportunity to share this one!

Next we have a quick shot from my phone until I get the real images from Tiffany Kyees - Happy 50th birthday, Varina! We had guests sing and toast with sparklers in hand (complimenting their Dish Wish champagne coupes) before the big candle blowout on her multi tiered cake from The Butter End:

And finally we completed the hot-as-fire weekend (I couldn't help it, again) topping off custom donuts gifted to Honey B Eileen from her bestie, Brittany over a girls' brunch on 3rd:

Now if only I had some sparklers this Monday morning as I sip my coffee...until next weekend, friends.
