"Cheers To Vanessa" themed bridal shower

This was a last minute addition to our calendar and I am so glad it happened! A good friend, Jamie, sent one of the bridesmaids Jeanne my way for some quick consulting and decor. Looking back at these photos makes me want bottomless mimosas and a slice of cake.

Vanessa, the bride-to-be was so surprised to walk in and see her place setting framed by an 8x8 striped backdrop boasting a custom cheers sign. She was even more surprised to see that chili peppers were incorporated into her bridal bouquet. This has significance to her because of her late grandfather.

Tables displayed pink sequin runners and an abundance of hand dipped glitter vases filled with a variety of flowers in shades of ivory, pink and salmon. We arranged them in a U formation so all fifty ladies could mingle and interact with one another. Handwritten mini chalkboard signs served up the seating arrangements and the mimosas as they doubled as glass markers.

Guests enjoyed a full brunch buffet consisting of bacon & eggs, pancakes, breakfast potatoes and assorted salads, fruits and pastries. Champagne glasses were hand dipped in edible gold sugar and disco dust and fresh coffee was brewed. After the fun and games there were plenty of gifts to send home including beautiful iced cookies with baseball logos, a hobby the bride and her fiancé have in common.

Extras:

  • A custom wedding playlist playing in the background
  • A game of Q & A between the bride and her fiancé, pre-recorded on a big screen for all to enjoy
  • Jenga pieces displayed for guests to write custom messages on
